Exceptional Sport Horses for Jumping, Hunters, Eventing and Dressage
Morning Glory Farm
Morning Glory Farm was established as a lifelong dream out of a deep passion for the horse and in particular – the sport horse and pony.
After almost 20 years of riding, showing, training and working with top professionals on the hunter/jumper circuit – the dream was realized of having a small, quality facility to breed and raise well-bred sport horses for the hunter/jumper ring, dressage arena and the event field.
The concept of the traits required for a competitive sport horse or pony was developed through the 1960s through 1980s training with and working for respected professionals and veterinarians. This experience encompassed the hunter and jumper ring as well as dressage and eventing techniques.
During these years, trainers and shows utilized both the ring, outside and handy hunter courses to master self-reliance and courage. Top trainers embraced dressage techniques to ensure correct flatwork and control. Fox hunting gave exhilirating experience with open terrain riding.
A great appreciation was born for all the disciplines that challenge and promote the abilities of the sport horse.
Our goal is to create outstanding sport horses to excel in the discipline they are most suited for. Our focus is on quality instead of quantity - we breed 2-3 high caliber foals per year and bring them along personally with the highest possible care and attention. Our dream is to place them with excellent homes where they will reach their potential.
