The foundation of the Morning Glory Farm program is in our broodmares.
The broodmares are selected for confirmation, balance, athleticism and attitude as well as a pedigree that tells a story of success. The Thoroughbred breed runs deep in our broodmare selections. As a veteran of the horse world from the 1960s through 1980s, where the Thoroughbred shined brightly in the sport horse disciplines, the idea was formed that this breed could provide the spark to the offspring of the future. Paired with the strength, power and calm brilliance of warmbloods – an elegant, durable and athletic horse is born.

16.3 Dark Bay with chrome "Daphne" is a gorgeous TB mare who had a winning record on the track and then retired due to injury. She has produced 5 top quality warmblood colts to date including our Storm Boomer, Special Morning, Morning Storm and Dazzle the Morning. She has deep sport-horse producing lines including Key to the Mint, Buckpasser and Thatch. Daphne's confirmation exemplifies Thoroughbred athleticism. She is big and powerful yet has a sane and thoughtful temperment which she passes to her offspring. This is a premier broodmare and all of her offspring are absolutely top quality.

She has been trained to 3rd level dressage and has jumped to 3'6".
Her sire is Bonjour (Kirkes) who was a dressage legend. Bonjour won the German "Young Horse Championship" and was a breed improvement stallion for the Hanoverian, Oldenburg, Rheinlander and Hessen registries.
On the Thoroughbred side, Gigi is a granddaughter of the great Secretariat. Her offspring show great potential in all sporthorse disciplines. Gigi is a top producer including Glenn Kinchie the Oldenburg High Foal Score at Pepperwood Farm inspection 2010.
