The Stallions
The essence of our breeding program is in selecting and breeding our mares to outstanding warmblood stallions. We choose our stallions carefully and with great consideration in respect to the pairing with the mare. The pedigree, performance record and quality of offspring of the stallion are also important factors. We do not specialize in one breed of warmblood as we feel all the breeds carry positive traits that can be tapped for high performance in sport horse and pony disciplines. We have been blessed to work with fantastic stallion owners.

Devon Heirs pedigree speaks for itself, both the top and the bottom line are stallions that have both been Hanoverian of the year and have both competed at the highest level of dressage. Both have developed a reputaion for producing superb charaters and rideability.
Devon Heir is known for his beautiful modern type with great ability to collect, with 3 good gaits that are able to make this horse compete at the Grand Prix level in the future. He is a complete horse with great rideability, great character, and great type. He has proven to pass these characteristics on to his offspring. His oldest offspring are know 4 years old, and they are very easy to work with. Just recently Bonnemeer DG (Devon Heir x Wanroij) scored and 83.4% in his first USEF 4yr old test. Younger Offspring have also been scoring very well in breed shows.

Concerto Grosso is by Concerto II, who in 2002 was (years after his early demise) the second leading jumper sire in the German FN breeding values. Concerto II is by Contender - Ahorn Z. Concerto II is the sire of Cisco (a stallion currently competing in US), and Margie Goldstein's international jumper Calippo.
Concerto Grosso's dam is State Premium Mare Caletta VII (Konigspark xx - Fernando - Landgraf I), from Stamm 474A, breeders of Cicero. Excellent breeding not only for jumpers, but hunters, dressage and eventing.
Concerto Grosso passed his 100 day test in 2002 with excellent scores including 9 for character. He has a great disposition, rideability, gorgeous dressage gaits, and super jumping ability: a big canter and lots of SCOPE. He has produced numerous premium foals.
